Project 4 : Clive

Brief

Clive gave us an open brief: To make his courtyard garden a special place. Somewhere nice to sit, fairly low maintenance with flowers. Some grass – just a little for the dog and maybe a water feature or decorative feature.

Design solution

Clive had previously lived with a large garden of topiary and cottagey planting. Our design features a set of circular spaces enclosed by topiary box hedging, space to sit, a very small lawn area for his dog. And a circle for a decorative feature.
